The Explorers have had another busy week. In Literacy we have been learning to retell the first part of Jack and the Beanstalk using actions! In maths we have been grouping objects in 2s,5s and 10s and recognising and ordering numbers to 20. The children had fun making their own clocks to practice reading o'clock times. A highlight of the week was having Kip in on Thursday to teach a music session, the children loved learning a new song and playing a range of instruments. Following on from the Forest School day last week the children were keen to make their own forest friends from sticks, many are on display in the classroom. The children were excited to see the first signs of growth from their bean plants, we are hoping to see even more changes over the long weekend! We hope you have a great Bank Holiday weekend and we'll see you back in school on Tuesday!
