We had a surprise arrival in our class. We returned from lunch to find a that a witch had crash landed in our class and needed us to help write a new spell to mend her broom! Some children used the clues and found out it was the witch from the story of 'Room on a Broom'.
In our funky fingers time we wrapped wands, helping develop our muscles for writing. We used our phonic skills to write words and objects for our class spell. In maths we had fun using the language of 'more' and 'less' to compare how many eyeballs we could find!
