This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year. Bananas had an invite to a New Year Party and he wanted us to find out what happens. We used books, the internet, music and pictures to research! Our role play has been transformed into a restaurant. We have enjoyed taking on roles as well as using chopsticks! In our mud kitchen we loved cutting and mixing the noodles to make creative dishes! In technology we have followed instructions to make lanterns. We even had fun trying to paint Chinese numerals!
We also explored how to keep safe on the internet and discussed how we should tell a grown up if there is something that we are unsure of or that upsets us. How do you keep safe at home?
