In art, KS1 have created their own looms and have been weaving with wool this week.
We have discovered that a loom is an apparatus for making fabric by weaving wool and thread. We made equally spaced slots on our loom and then began our weaving. We needed to go in and out of the wrap wool with the weft wool. The children made such wonderful pieces with their own choices of colour and patterns. They needed to be resilient penguins to keep on going when the wool got tangled or tricky to move. Well done KS1!
