      This week, Year 6 were lucky enough to have the Director of Procurement from Peninsula Purchasing and Supply Alliance in to talk to them about her scientific background.
    • Meet our newest entrepreneurs!
      Years 5 and 6 have been taking part in the fiver challenge this week. The Fiver Challenge is a national enterprise programme providing children an interactive and fun way of developing core enterprise and financial education skills.
    • World Ocean Day
      Thursday 8th June was World Ocean Day for schools and the Explorers enjoyed learning about the importance of caring for our oceans as well as getting surf-fit with Pazzy Pongo!
    • Pollination Station...
      As part of "Our Community" topic this half term KS1 have been planting a pollinator friendly garden to make sure they have enough food and water. This week's focus is "Our Community; Our Environment"
    • Instructions
      In literacy this week, the children have been revisiting instructions and recapping the key features we need to include, including imperative verbs, time conjunctions and adverbs.
    • Computing
      This half term, we will be using a computer to create music on Chrome Music Labs!
    • Tree studying
      As a start to 'Our Community' Topic, we are looking at our environment and thinking about how to help it.
    • The Train Ride
      This half term we are exploring our local community from Bishopsteignton to Teignmouth.
    • Amazing Art
      KS1 finished their Materials Art unit with a final piece showing off their weaving, drawing and dyeing skills.
    • Flying our kites
      The Investigators enjoyed flying their finished kites that they have been designing and making in DT this half term.
