  In Literacy this week, chidren in Inventors and Pioneers have used a short video as a stimulus for creative writing.
• Forest School
  Year 5 had their first Forest School session today.

  The children in KS1 enjoyed putting their skills to the test to try and beat their personal best!

  We investigated which materials would be the best to use to make a kite!
• RNLI Visit
  The whole school attended an assembly today led by the RNLI. The children listened superbly and shared some fantastic thoughts.
• Science: Properties and changes of materials
  Pioneers and Inventors have started their new Science topic this week.
• Materials- States of matter
  To kick start the topic 'Materials' in science, the children learnt about states of matter and how they behaved.
• Exploring Kandinsky
  The children began their art learning for this half term using the artist Kandinsky for inspiration.
• What the Ladybird Heard!
  This half term we are investigating plants and animals.
• Music
  This half term in music we are fortunate to have Lisa Price, a specialist music teacher.
