This week saw the children engaged in a variety of literacy lessons developed to improve and refine their creative writing skills. This included lessons on suspense, story openers and creating mood. We are sure the children will be able to apply these skills in their own independent writing this upcoming week.
We also continued our work on fractions and number sequences in maths.
Our topic lessons involved the children annotating a picture of either the Bronze or Stone Age with a minimum of 100 words. It was impressive to see how much the children have learnt about these important eras of British history.
We are still working hard on our handball skills!
