Phases of the moon

This week, Inventors and Pioneers explored the why the Moon looks different using Aero Bubbles.
The children used the Aero Bubbles to represent the Moon, whilst their own head represented the Earth. They then used the different colours to show which side of the moon is illuminated by the sun, and how on Earth, we see different amounts of this light as the moon orbits us, leading to the different 'phases' of the moon.
