Pioneers and Inventors have studied pictures and photographs to find out about primary and secondary sources in our recent History lessons.
Using a range of both primary and secondary sources, we have been thinking about how the past can be interpreted in different ways. After establishing a sense of chronology by studying conflicts of the past last week, photographs and radio clips from the beginning of the Second World War helped us to find out about this period of time in our most recent lessons. We also interpreted the meanings behind posters of the time, thinking in particular about their message to the public. There were some really perceptive comments from everyone.
