As a hook into our next learning focus about growing, Al our caretaker, sent us a mystery package to explore and investigate!
We used our noticing skills to identify similarities and differences between the seeds. Lots of noticing about colour, shape and size. Lots of sorting, matching and counting too! Some children thought they were stones or magic beans. Many of the children were particularly interested in the sweetcorn and described them as dry and shrivelled!
Later this week we are going to think about what seeds need to help them grow.
