    Today we found out about the number 8.

    We learnt how to represent it on the tens frame, in numicon and as a Number Block! We also linked it to an octagon and an octopus. Can you explain why?

    Some of the children went on a hunt to find 8. 

    We also had fun making concertina spiders and found out that 4 doubled and 4 add 4 is 8.
