KS1 started work on their Mondrian inspired paintings
KS1 have been busy painting abstract works inspired by Piet Mondrian. The children explored and shared their knowledge of primary colours before using masking tape to mark out their squares and rectangles on their page. Using water based paint the children painted the squares using only primary colours and black. We can't wait to keep on learning about painting and how famous artists have used paint in their work. We hope to share some more of our art work soon.
