As part of British Science Week, Pioneers and Inventors have been finding out about the role of scientists in Britain today.
Children enjoyed using the British Science Week website to discover what motivates scientists in their pursuit to discover new ideas and methods. They were particularly interested in their levels of perseverance and resilience in their scientific field to prove their hypotheses and discover new learning; they then thought about how they could apply these ideas in their own work.
