This week, Inventors and Pioneers have been combining their superb photography skills with their own sketches.
After our village walk, the children selected their favourite photos to recreate sections of. They traced the section they wanted to sketch/embellish and transferred that onto paper. They then added their own additional designs and details (using the work of artists such as Ben Heine as inspiration) and have begun to layer their sketches on top of their photographs. The children have worked really hard to use the different shading techniques discussed in previous lessons and have paid great attention to detail. We can't wait to see the final pieces!
