In lessons this week, Pioneers and Inventors are developing their performance skills by improvising music using the glockenspiels.
To develop our understanding of musical composition, we started by learning about melody, chords and the pentatonic scale. We then used Charanga to explore our creative sides (using the song ‘Ghost Parade’) and improvised melodies to accompany the music. Later in the week, we are looking forward to using notation when we further our musical expertise.
