This week, the children carried out lots of activities centered around Anti-Bullying Week.
The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2025 was 'Power for Good' and the children thought about how they could use their personal power to make changes and prevent bullying from happening. It was lovely to hear their thoughtful ideas around how they could stand up for themselves and others and how they can create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, valued and heard.
The children had great fun role playing different scenarios and were confident they could identify 'ringleaders', 'reinforcers' and 'assistants' in incidents involving bullying. It was great to see how positive the children were about making changes to become upstanders instead of bystanders and how they were all so determined to make sure those more vulnerable were advocated for.
