Year 2 have been composing their own music using pitch notation and glockenspiels.
Year 2 have been learning about different pitches, focusing on low, middle and high. After listening and responding to different pitches the children used a stave to notate different four note patterns. The children then played these on their glockenspiels, experimenting to make lots of different patterns. The children even went on to listen to a four note pattern and notated what they had heard.
