As part of our Animals topic, Pioneers and Inventors have spent time searching for invertebrates and using classification keys to classify them.
The children were great at identifying different habitats invertebrates could be found in, and used the key to answer a series of questions that helped them to identify what type of invertebrate they had found. The children used their scientific skills to determine different features of invertebrates and could explain what made them similar or different. Excellent job Years 5 and 6!
