This week, Voyagers and Discoverers have continued to learn about Pentecost and the impact for Christians.
The children have been diving into the dramatic events of Pentecost, often celebrated as the "birthday of the Church". We began with a shared reading of some Acts. We discussed the mixed emotions the Apostles must have felt—moving from confusion and waiting to sudden, overwhelming joy. The children created a freeze frames of key events and we continued to explore different emotions of people. The children shared their thoughts on the Pentecost and asked fantastic questions to develop their understanding.
