At Preschool the children have been learning about lifecycles, looking at and beginning to develop an understanding of the four stages of the lifecycle of a frog and butterfly.
As a group we have been using books, IPads and the smart TV to find out information about the sequence of growth and change, and the importance of respecting and caring for our natural environment and all living things.
Our Focus plan has been ‘Pond dipping’,’ to explore and find hidden creatures to sort in to number groups to promote mathematical language through play.
