News Stories Seaside! At Preschool we have been talking about the seaside and the things that we see, smell and hear while spending time on and around the beach. Planting Seeds and Flowers The Preschool children have been exploring how seeds grow into plants looking at changes over time! Bounce Off! Preschool were brilliant bouncers for The Great Bishop Forest School Bounce Off! A huge thank you to FOBS for organising the event and to all those who sponsored our children! New Life and Lifecycles At Preschool the children have been learning about lifecycles, looking at and beginning to develop an understanding of the four stages of the lifecycle of a frog and butterfly. Easter Craft! Preschool have been celebrating Easter through a range of crafts, using different materials and techniques to decorate individual artwork. The children have been having a go at mark making/labelling their own cards and Easter pictures. Jack and the Beanstalk At Preschool we have been sharing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk! World Book Day! The preschool children had great fun on World Book Day sharing their favourite stories and dressing up as story book characters! People Who Help Us At Preschool we have been talking about and finding out about people that help us in our daily lives and routines, beginning to be aware of and show an interest in different occupations, such as doctors, dentists, police, firefighters and the RNLI. Once Upon a Mermaid's Tail At Preschool we have been sharing the story of Once Upon a Mermaid’s Tail which explores the importance of caring for and respecting our natural world, environment and living things. Favourite Stories and Rhymes The Preschool children have been busy sharing their favourite stories and rhymes during circle time, in small groups and 1:1 with adults!
