Voyagers and Discoverers are becoming experts at telling the time in our Maths lessons.
Lots of practical work with analogue clocks (including drawing hands accurately on clock faces), has been carried out to consolidate our learning. We are also comparing times, such as second, minute and hour, to estimate and answer questions like 'how many push ups could you do in 30 seconds, in a minute or in five minutes?' How many do you think you could manage?
After this, we will move onto digital times, mastering use of the 24 hour clock and tackling word problems to enhance our understanding of these concepts. Fantastic enquiry skills have been shown in lessons, with super collaborative work from everyone. Great job Years 3 and 4!
