We have been learning about plants in Year 3/4.
Discoverers have looked closely at the parts of a flower (by cutting a Lily into parts). We found out about each part of a flower and its function.
Voyagers have been finding out how water is transported in plants. We conducted an experiment using food colouring and celery sticks. We found it easy to see the capillaries as food dye showed us where these are in a plant.
