Welcome back! We hope you had a fun filled half term break. This week we introduced our new Vets role play as a starting point for the children to explore how to care for animals. We also began to investigate different materials with a focus on natural materials.
In mathematics we have continued to practice counting, recognising and ordering numbers from 1 to 20. We have also use everyday language to talk about money, compare amounts and solve problems.
In phonics we will continue to learn our phase 3 letter sounds, digraphs and words. Every time we learn a new letter sound or digraph a sheet to practice the sound will be sent home. The 'Phonics Play' website has a range of fun games to practice the phonics we teach.
