Following recent funding from Devon County Council we have two new classrooms and now have seven classes with spaces available in some year groups.

As a successful and popular village school our pupil numbers increase and we continue to receive enquiries from parents interested in their child/children joining us throughout the year. If you are considering a place for your child at Bishopsteignton Primary School, either in Reception or at another point in your child's school journey, we would strongly advise that you visit our friendly and welcoming team. Whole School

  • We have been celebrating Children in Need today by either wearing our pyjamas or dressing up as people who help us. Thank you so much for your kind donations. We managed to raise £206 towards this worthy cause!
  • The KS2 children today joined members of the Bishopsteignton Community for the Armistace service at the memorial in the village. They were perfectly behaved and showed respect by remembering those who have been so brave during many different wars.
  • Well done to our 2 teams from Discoverers and Voyagers who competed in the High 5 Netball Tournament last night.
  • As part of our assembly yesterday, the children were asked to give their top tips for staying safe at Halloween.
  • We had our Harvest Celebration this afternoon. Miss Thomas led a fantastic assembly where the children learnt about how foods were harvested and the reasons why we celebrate this festival.
