Following recent funding from Devon County Council we have two new classrooms and now have seven classes with spaces available in some year groups.

As a successful and popular village school our pupil numbers increase and we continue to receive enquiries from parents interested in their child/children joining us throughout the year. If you are considering a place for your child at Bishopsteignton Primary School, either in Reception or at another point in your child's school journey, we would strongly advise that you visit our friendly and welcoming team. Bishopsteignton Primary School News

  • Key Stage 2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Phoenix Theatre in Exeter yesterday to see a production of 'Lucy and the lost ones'.
  • The KS2 Christmas Choir sung beautifully at the Village Festival Christmas Market at Higher Humber Farm & Red Rock Brewery on Saturday 25th November!
  • The whole school have been fascinated by Dr Niall talk about his adventures and encounters with some of the deadliest animals on earth. His visit has been funded by a donation from Fran Edwards raised at a coffee morning and donations from parents.
  • The children of Bishopsteignton Primary had a real treat today as a Sea King Helicopter landed in the village green. What an amazing experience for everyone who was there!
  • KS2 enjoyed a fantastic day dressed up as their Times Tables Rock Stars, taking part in times tables quizzes and competitions!
