This week, Inventors and Pioneers explored where the vicious reputation of the Vikings came from.
After learning more about the first recorded Viking raid on the monastery at Lindisfarne in 793AD, the children role played and hot seated as Vikings. As 'Vikings', the children questioned one another about how they felt when they heard the horrid way in which the monks at the monastery had described them.
