The children were brilliant historians today and looked at artefacts really carefully to learn more about people living at the time.
The children learned about hierarchy and ancient Egyptian society earlier in the half term. They were able to use this knowledge to look at different types of burial and infer how important, rich or powerful the people were when they were alive.
They learned lots about the different rituals and practises that took place during a burial and how this prepared Egyptians for their journey to the afterlife.
There was brilliant collaboration and great questions were asked by all children as they justified their reasons.
