Today, the children started on a journey to join the fight against climate change.
The children began today with an assembly in which they learned about climate change. They learned about what climate change is, its devastating effects which are already being felt around the world, why it is happening and most importantly, what they can do to prevent it.
The children left shocked, but inspired and empowered to do what they can to save the Earth.
They all agreed to take part in Cut Your Carbon Month. Children across the school were given a checklist full of activities which can be completed in school and at home with the help of their families. The aim of these tasks are to make small changes to reduce their carbon footprint.
This is just one of the many things the children will do this November to do their part to prevent climate change.
