As part of our Extreme Earth topic, the children have been developing their map reading skills by looking for river s in the UK.
This week, the children have revisited their knowledge of oceans and seas by looking at the seas and oceans that surround the United Kingdom. Then, using their map reading skills, they located and named some of the main rivers in the United Kingdom and identified the sea or ocean that they flow into. This required many skills and the children worked fabulously in pairs to complete this. Well done everyone.
