KS1 children have been using leaves to create autumnal pictures.
KS1 have been creating monoprint pictures using fallen leaves. They first experimented with autumnal pallets, mixing primary colours to create autumn colours in their sketch books. Next they experimented with painting and printing different leaves. The children tried using different pressures when printing, different amounts of paint, layering the prints on top of another and different amounts of water within their paint mixture to test what had the best affect. After all this experimenting they completed their final pieces - we think they look brilliant!
