In Voyagers and Discoverers this week, we have been using doubling to help with understanding and recall of multiplication facts.
In class, the children have been linking their times tables to help multiply. They have been creating arrays with counters/blocks and drawing them to learn that if you can double numbers then your 2,4 and 8 times tables are much easier as you just need to keep doubling. As well as doubling multiples of 3 to create multiples of 6. Fantastic work Voyagers and Discoverers.
