KS1 have been learning about important symbols in Judaism and went on a hunt for symbols they can see around our school.
KS1 have been learning about symbols in their RE lessons this week. They first of all looked at different symbols in Judaism such as the Star of David and menorah. The children discussed how and why these are important symbols for Jewish people before going on a symbol hunt around the school. Their next activity was to design their own symbol to represent them and what is important in their lives.
