KS1 have been experimenting with time!
The children started by estimating how long a minute was - we had lots of varied responses and lots of the children were surprised to find out how long a minute actually felt like. We then moved onto finding out how much we could do in a minute. We made predictions, using what we know to help us find a reasonable guess and then completed out experiments to find the results. Some of the experiments were more tiring than others (How many star jumps can you do in one minute?) and some of our predictions were closer than others.
