This morning members of the School Council from Years 1-6 took part in a Speed Watch activity with PC Rob Harvey and PCSO Saul Bunce. In the 2 hour session 28 vehicles were recorded going in excess of 36mph in the 30mph zone.
The Police Officers pulled over the speeding vehicles and directed them into Michael's Field car-park where pupils asked the drivers a series of questions about why they were speeding and how they would feel if they knocked down a child on this road. Thank you very much to Mrs Gardner and Mrs Coburn for supporting the pupils with this activity.
