What a wonderful World Book Day!
We started the day sharing books with our house teams - older children paired up with KS1 to share stories around the school - before completing a range of different activities in classes to celebrate reading.
Teachers had fun creating our "Comfy Reading Zone" to celebrate World Book Day!

Today we had Ally from Beach Schools come to talk to the whole school in assembly. The main discussion points were around Beach Safety and Pollution.
Children from Discoverers, Voyagers, Pioneers and Inventors enjoyed a performance of 'Puffin Island' at the Phoenix Theatre today.
The Choir entertained members of the community at the Memory Cafe today and brought the spirit of Christmas to lots of local people.
The school is taking part in a Christmas Tree Competition run by Dartmoor Christmas Trees to win £250 for the School. Please vote for our tree on their Facebook page - Dartmoor Christmas Trees.
