KS1 have been investigating 2D and 3D shapes this week.
For one of our investigations, we needed to create a 2D shape out of art straws and consider how to change this to turn it into a 3D shape. We found out that there were numerous considerations before we could create our perfect shapes. We thought about the length of the straws, the angles we needed to use and how to create the vertices. Ask your child about the shape that they created.
