We found a basket of ingredients and a recipe to help us make our own porridge.
This week the Three Bears sent us a challenge!
As a class, we first named and sorted the equipment and ingredients needed to help make the porridge.
In small groups, we then read and followed the set of instructions. Super use of our phonic skills as well as identifying the bossy verbs. We were brilliant at using our Makaton signs to bring the instructions to life. Lots of amazing 'noticing' skills in action too!
Tasting the porridge was certainly a highlight as well as trying a selection of toppings.
As part of our maths learning, we used a ten frame to vote for our favourite topping.
