As part of our 'Get Inspired' topic we have have been experimenting with different materials in our Art lessons.
The children have spent time 'designing by making'. This has meant that they have had lots of freedom to explore different materials and techniques to develop their sculptures and have used their creative instincts to learn how these materials work together. Instead of sketching a design first, the children have been encouraged to simply enjoy the process of using their imaginations and just experiment without following a specific design. It has been fantastic to see the children's creativity shine through and see all their super ideas! We look forward to seeing what the children develop with wire over the course of this unit and how they continue to build on and adapt their ideas. Super job Inventors and Pioneers!
