The Explorers have had fun experimenting this week!
The Explorers have been learning about the importance of oral health. This week we set up a tooth decay experiment using eggs as the shells are made of a similar substance to tooth enamel. We predicted what will happen to each egg in the different liquids and then waited a whole day to see if we were right!
We found out that coke made the egg brown so we cleaned it using toothpaste and a toothbrush brush. Vinegar dissolved the shell but milk and water left the shells the same!
