As part of our computing learning, the children enjoyed exploring the floor robots.
The children had the opportunity to explore the Beebots, learning that 'actions' have an effect and can control devices.
We talked about an 'algorithm' as a set of instructions and agreed that the instructions need to be in a certain order.
In pairs, the Explorers loved programming Beebot and used coded instructions to send him to each other. Our ten frame was very useful in helping to count and show how many spaces forward Beebot would need to move.
