    We enjoyed a day with our bears. Thank you to Phoebe's mum for bringing Daddy bear to school! The Explorers were VERY excited!

    We counted, sorted and ordered our bears! So many maths skills in one morning!

    We sang 'Ten in the Bed' and explored different ways to partition 10, we found lots of number pairs that add together to make 10.

    Some children even represented their ideas in calculations.

    Daddy bear encouraged lots of exploration and talk to compare and find the shortest and tallest bear!
