• Life as an evacuee
  This week in Literacy the children will be writing letters home in the role of an evacuee.

  This week the children have spent time devising historically valid questions and researching/analysing sources sources to explain reasons for significant events.
• British Science Week
  As part of British Science Week, Pioneers and Inventors have been finding out about the role of scientists in Britain today.

  Pioneers and Inventors have been creating and performing sequences in our gymnastic lessons.
• Interhouse Competition
  This week Inventors and Pioneers had great fun participating in a Dodgeball competition!

  Our lessons in Pioneers and Inventors this half term are based on our new topic: Pictures of the Past. 
• Year 5 Fire Safety Talk
  Today, Year 5 were lucky enough to have a fire safety talk from a member of Torquay's fire department.

  Inventors and Pioneers have had a great time dressing up and sharing books today for World Book Day!
