• Fraction Museum
  Today the children in years 5 and 6 created their own exhibits for a fraction museum.

  Children have made a great start to their travel brochures today as part of our work on persuasive writing.
• Monday's Maths
  This morning children's mental arithmetic was put to the test as both classes challenged adults in a warm-up game of countdown (we have to admit, the children won!)

  This week we are trialling a new format of home learning for Pioneers and Inventors.

  We are very proud of our WW1 scrapbooks which we have been adding to over the term!
• Poppy Police Visit
  Today, the police brought their special 'Poppy Car' to visit us at Bishop.
• Growth Mindset Maths!
  Today in maths we talked about how nobody is born with "a maths brain", that everyone is capable of achieving great things.
• Scratch Solar Simulations
  Year 5 and 6 are working hard on their ICT skills this week.
• Anti-Bullying Week
  This week years 5 and 6 will be spending some time focusing on cyber bullying.
