In our maths learning this week, we have been exploring 8 and 9.
We found out that 'Oct' means 8! We enjoyed exploring the classroom to find the digits and used our counting skills to find groups of 8 and 9.
We made spiders with 8 legs, learning how to concertina fold too. We were great at using our 'prove it' skills to partition 8 into 5 and 3, and 6 and 2. We are also learning to explain our ideas using mathematical vocabulary.
