  15 children from Bishop attended a Cyclo-Cross event at Dartmoor Community College yesterday.
• Tommy Guide to the Trenches!
  Today's topic lesson saw Pioneers and Inventors looking at a range of sources to find out more about what life was like for soldiers fighting in the trenches. They have started to create their own guides for soldiers which will be completed tomorrow.
• Living History KS2 Visit
  KS2 were lucky to have Arthur and Zac from The Living History Group visit to share their knowledge about WW1.
• Science
  This week we have been thinking about materials. We have thought about what things are made of and if they are man made or natural.
• Year 4 Tag Rugby Festival
  Children in Year 4 attended a Tag Rugby Festival this week at TCS. They played new games, developed skills and learnt more about Tag Rugby.
• Sea King Helicopter Fly Past
  The last of the Royal Navy's Sea King helicopters have taken to the skies for a farewell flypast today and some of our pupils managed to catch a glimpse as it went over the school!
• Explorers settling into school life..................
  Our new Explorers are quickly becoming part of our school community!
• School Council Presentations
  Wow! Some brilliant presentations today from children hoping to be voted the next school council representatives. The children presented their ideas clearly and confidently and it was clear that lots of effort went into their presentations.
