    • Sharing our Poems!
      We have now completed our poetry unit and we were so proud to share our finished poems with each other today.
    • Art
      Following on from last terms Art work, we have been exploring Pointillism which is a painting technique in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image.
    • Computing
      In Computing, we have been creating algorithms using Scratch and correcting errors which we may make in the process.
    • Poetry
      Linking to our new topic of the Victorians, we have been exploring a poem from Robert Louis Stevenson.
    • DT project
      This week we made bridges in Design and Technology. First, we designed our bridge, then measured the wood before sawing and constructing it. The purpose of the bridge was to cross a river and to be strong enough to hold five toy cars.

      We were so proud of our end product!
    • Pantomime
      A big thank you to FOBS and parents for giving us the opportunity to go to the pantomime today! The children had a fantastic time and enjoyed 'A Big Snowy Christmas' which was about a baby bear going on mission to deliver presents for Santa.
    • Curriculum Celebration
      Thank you to all of the parents who came along to celebrate the children's learning. It was a delight to see so many of you in school!
    • Year 3 Violin Concert
      Year 3 have had ten weeks of violin lessons with Kip Pratt - a professional music teacher. The sessions have been great, and the children have learnt so much in such a short space of time.
    • String Telephones
      In Science, we have been investigating how sound is created. We used string phones to explore how sound travels.
