• Squares and Rectangles
  In maths this week we have been learning about squares and rectangles.
• Computing
  Today we explored what can be shared on the World Wide Web and where websites are stored.
• Christmas at preschool
  This week at preschool we have been getting really excited preparing for Christmas. We have been busy decorating our Christmas tree, writing letters to Father Christmas and making and decorating our salt dough decorations!
• Role play
  The children role played their own cooking show, making paella for the viewers at home.
• Musical Maestros!
  Year 2 wowed Year 1 with a musical performance showcasing their learning with Ms Price across this half term.
• Autumn craft and woodland creatures
  This week the children have been exploring the wildlife in our forest area and school grounds, we have enjoyed. Visit to the school library to find out information about woodland creatures and hibernating animals. 
• Perfect Poetry
  As part of our Whole Class Guided Reading sessions, Pioneers and Inventors have been sharing free verse poems. 
• Forest School Fun
  The Y2 children had a GREAT Foresct School Afternoon afternoon yesterday. They LOVE the muddy, slippy days best!
• Peace at Last!
  'Peace at Last' is our new text. As a hook to our story, we came in from play to find Mr Bear trying to sleep in our role play!
• Tricky Words
  As part of our phonics learning, we have been working hard to learn to read our tricky words!
