    • Art home learning
      We were so impressed with the high-quality artwork that was presented as home learning today!
    • Measure
      In Year 3/4 we have been applying our addition and subtraction skills to measure! We have been measuring the length of objects in the playground.
    • Numbers
      In our maths learning this week, we have been exploring 8 and 9.
    • Superpowers!
      Today we were thinking about superhero powers. We wanted to have x-ray vision so we sorted objects into those that we could see through and those we couldn't. We learnt the word 'transparent'! The children enjoyed making and wearing their superhero masks.
    • Travel Brochures
      Children have made a great start to their travel brochures today as part of our work on persuasive writing.
    • Beach Schools Assembly
      Today we had Ally from Beach Schools come to talk to the whole school in assembly. The main discussion points were around Beach Safety and Pollution.
    • Year 3 Handball Festival
      On Wednesday, children from Year 3 attended a Handball Festival at TCS where they practised skills needed to become confident players. They had a fantastic afternoon and enjoyed the experience.
    • Music Makers!
      Kip, our school's Music Specialist, is going to be teaching a music session to the Explorers every Friday this half term. Today he told them a musical story and they had great fun playing a range of musical instruments!
    • Christmas Craft
      We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came along.
    • Ship Ahoy!
      After our phonics learning about the 'sh' digraph, some of the children decided to make a large scale pirate ship!
