• First Forest School!
  Our first group of Explorers had an amazing time at their Forest School session on Wednesday!

  In Religious Education lessons this half term, Voyagers and Discoverers are thinking about a big question:What do Christians learn from the creation story?
• Netball - passing and footwork.
  This half term, Voyagers and Discoverers will be developing the skills and techniques involved in netball. They have made a fantastic start.
• Mental Maths!
  Years 5 and 6 have been working hard on solving different calculations using mental maths strategies (instead of formal written methods) this week.
• Excellent Explorers!
  I huge well done to our new Explorers for completing their first full-time week at school!
• Writing labels
  Adventurers have been practising their writing skills by creating labels for the playground.
• Science Circuits!
  This half term, Pioneers and Inventors are studying electricity and how circuits work.
• Animals' diets and spotting patterns
  In our first science lesson for the topic 'Animals including humans', we looked at how food helps animals and spotted patterns in the food animals eat.
• Hot seating
  In our Literacy lessons, Discoverers and Voyagers are reading ‘The Invisible’ and studying the reactions of the people in the story.
• History
  In History we located the Victorian period on the timeline in relation to what we already know about different time periods in the past.
