      In Science, we have been investigating how sound is created. We used string phones to explore how sound travels.
    • Masterchef -Home Learning
      We have been very lucky to have tried a variety of energy bars/snacks made by the class for their homework. Thank you for helping children to create their delicious snacks and sharing their recipes!
    • Children in Need 2019
      We have been celebrating Children in Need today by either wearing our pyjamas or dressing up as people who help us. Thank you so much for your kind donations. We managed to raise £206 towards this worthy cause!

      After learning the 'ck' digraph sound the children decided to organise a game of d-u-ck, duck, goose!

      How far will the rocket travel?
    • Remembrance Day
      The KS2 children today joined members of the Bishopsteignton Community for the Armistace service at the memorial in the village. They were perfectly behaved and showed respect by remembering those who have been so brave during many different wars.

      Today we marked Armistice Day in our key stage assembly.
    • More or Fewer?
      In our maths learning we have been exploring groups of objects and used our counting skills to directly compare groups to find out which has more or fewer!
    • The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch Dressing Up Day!
      Mr Grinling managed the time to visit! The children asked lots of questions, such as 'How did you manage to put up the zip wire?!' Mr Grinling was very surprised on his arrival because there were so many Hamish the cats! He is only used to one Hamish!
    • Lighthouse Keepers Lunch Wall Display
      We have been very busy making items for our wall displays. The children had lots of ideas including a 3D lighthouse, a zip wire and flapping seagulls! Today a "real" seagull came to visit!
